Welcome to Inkkes (“Inkkes”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a platform that allows users to upload, publish, read, and monetize independent webcomics and digital comics.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you and the operator of Inkkes. By accessing or using the Inkkes website, mobile application, or any related services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
1.1 You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use the Service.
1.2 If you are under 18 years old, you may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
1.3 Certain content on Inkkes is marked as Mature (18+). You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to access Mature content. We may require age verification for such content.
1.4 By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements above.
2.1 To access certain features (uploading comics, purchasing, tipping, etc.), you must create an account.
2.2 You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it updated.
2.3 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
2.4 You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
2.5 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the Service or other users.
3.1 “User Content” means any comics, illustrations, text, messages, or other materials you upload, publish, or submit to the Service.
3.2 You retain ownership of the copyright and other intellectual property rights in your User Content.
3.3 By uploading User Content, you grant Inkkes a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting/display purposes), distribute, publicly display, and perform your User Content solely in connection with operating, promoting, and improving the Service.
3.4 This license continues even if you delete your account, but only for content that has already been shared with other users or used in promotions prior to deletion.

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, at our sole discretion.
All trademarks, logos, software, design, and other materials that make up the Inkkes platform (excluding User Content) are owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our materials without prior written permission.
6.1 Inkkes may offer paid subscriptions, individual comic purchases, tips/donations to creators, and other paid features.
6.2 All payments are processed through third-party payment providers.
6.3 Pricing, billing cycles, and applicable taxes will be clearly displayed before you complete a purchase.
6.4 Refunds are governed by our separate Refund Policy.
6.5 Creator earnings and payouts are governed by the separate Creator Terms.
7.1 You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
7.2 We may suspend or permanently terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we decide to discontinue the Service.
7.3 Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Certain provisions of these Terms (including licenses already granted, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive termination.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any content will be accurate or reliable.
To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Inkkes and its operators, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim (or RM 100 if you have not paid us anything).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Inkkes and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service and updating the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
